The S1.6 features the Evertune® constant-tension bridge—a reliable, fully-mechanical system that keeps the guitar in tune under any circumstances. It is loaded with Duncan Solar pickups that provide a full spectrum of tonal options, from organic clean to heavily overdriven, all with fluid sustain and maximum clarity. This Type S1.6 guitar has a neck-through construction with 25.5” scale, a poplar purple burl veneer over mahogany body with black binding, a fast C-shaped thin 5-ply mahogany/jatoba neck, an ebony fingerboard with 24 super-jumbo stainless steel frets and Luminlay ‘glow in the dark’ side dots for easy stage use. It comes loaded with Solar 18:1 locking tuners, graphite nut, five-way blade pickup switching and full access neck. Available in poplar purple burst matte finish.
